Throughout these workshops we’ll cover the techniques to create a mosaic that will last, we’ll cover tools and their uses, the different types of ceramics, bases, adhesives for interior and exterior uses,  basic design, mosaic terminology and finally resources. We all work at different paces and the tempo of the class is set by each individual. If you already have mosaic experience or are an existing student this project will add another layer to your skill base with support & tuition from me. 

Mosaic Mandala Workshop

Course Overview

Join us for a meditative, four-week journey into the ancient art of the mandala. Over the course of four Monday afternoons, you will learn the technical skills of mosaic—cutting, shaping, and setting—while exploring the symmetrical beauty of mandala design.
